A photo exhibition will take place from May 8-18 at the Cultural Center of Municipality of Sykies, Thessaloniki.
The exhibition, titled “Thessaloniki In the Course of Time, 1912-1922,” is a collaboration of the Municipality of Sykies and the Holy Metropolis of Neapolis and Stavroupolis, Thessaloniki.
Anyone attending the exhibition will have the opportunity to admire extremely rare photos of Thessaloniki in the early 20th century. The photo collection belongs to educator/writer Konstantinos Nigdelis.
Nigdelis is a very active person and writer of books focusing on Greek immigration. Along with another professor, he has created a website where they present issues concerning Greek communities abroad.
