Friday, May 18, at 8pm, the Tellogleion Foundation of Arts in Thessaloniki hosts young Greek student Fotini Valeontis, who created a new application called USEUM. By using this application, someone could search for any work, artist or event in regards to arts.

Her purpose is to create an international and perennial art collection. Every user of the platform, whether an artist or just an art lover, will have the option to comment on the uploads or enrich the collection.

Valeontis is a PhD student at the University College of London and worked on the USEUM app. The young Greek also plans to move back to Greece soon.

Valeontis’ wanted to, at first, create a platform for everyone keep their art work, dated from modern artists through those of the Renaissance. She wanted to provide an artistic platform, where someone could search for art works or anything else concerning art, by typing in a few keywords.
