Curtains closed on the 3-day long Matala Festival 2012 held in the Municipality of Phaistos in Crete. The successful hippies’ reunion was much bigger than last year and featured two musical scenes along with many prominent Greek artists.
Visitors travelled back in time while visiting the Festival in Matala. With the legendary Woodstock music from the 70’s, loads of dancing, more than 25 concerts, all-night-long beach parties and visitors of all ages, Matala attracted music fans from all over the world for the second year in a row.
Among the artists that joined the festival were Pavlos Pavlides and the B-Movies, Tony Sfinos and the Playmates, Panos Mouzourakis and Despina Olympiou.
