Actor Athinodoros Prousalis Passes Away at 86

On June 5, Greece’s beloved actor Athinodoros Prousalis passed away at the age of 86. The famous actor died due to a heart attack.
He was born in Istanbul in 1926. His family moved to Greece and young Athinodoros studied at the Dramatic School of Athens Odeon. His long career included many participations in several Greek films, as well in theatrical plays, including the Greek Art Theatre of Karolos Koun.
He starred and took part in several theatrical performances and movies, as well in many TV series until recently.
One of his biggest roles was in “Touch of Spice,” through which Prousalis promoted his talent abroad but one of Greeks’ most favorite roles of his may have been that of the old cunning man in the Greek “Eglimata” TV series.
