The Crime Novel that Takes Greece by Storm

Aggeliki Nikolouli Book
Investigative Journalist Aggeliki Nikolouli has topped charts in Greece and online with her new crime novel I Dreamed of your Killer

About ten days ago, Greece’s most popular investigative reporter, Aggeliki Nikolouli, presented to Greek audiences her first attempt of writing a book titled I Dreamed of Your Killer.  Publishers expected that due to the fame of its author the crime novel will do well, something that often happens when TV personalities write books.
What very few expected, including the author, was that the book would become Greece’s summer best seller. In less than two weeks since it hit the stands, the novel is in its 6th edition, has sold more than 14,000 copies an unprecedented number for Greece’s small audience.
The book which is based on one of the countless real mystery cases the investigative reporter managed to solve in her many years of journalism is also topping the electronic sales charts on itunes and android. This electronic form is the key that the book has gained interest from audiences abroad.
Aggeliki Nikolouli has already received requests to bring her book into the big screen from two production companies in Hollywood, and she seems to be thinking very seriously about turning her novel into a film.
About the book:
A young and beautiful girl disappears into thin air. In the small provincial town, police and locals believe that she took the wrong path, the way of earning easy money. A journalist-researcher departs immediately in pursuit of her whereabouts. Guided by intuition, she is propelled from a bizarre dream into a series of adventures that culminate in an incredible revelation that leads to the discovery of the missing girl.  She slips in a maze full of suspects, where everyone accuses each other and together at the same time composes a peculiar story with puzzles and riddles. She pursues the guilty suspect from clues that unravel  into a ruthless game of cat and mouse. A weird connection ties her with the perpetrator. The show seems to be endless.
A town of mystery, with people who prefer to be tight-lipped, even though they seem to be aware of many facts. A hidden diary, with sins of the past and prophecies for the future. Intrigues, loves and passions in a tense, cinematic rhythm, while the suspense keeps growing.
