Serge Die scored in the 40th minute to lead visiting Xanthi to a 1-0 victory over struggling Panathinaikos in the Greek league Sunday.
The win lifted Xanthi to sixth place while Panathinaikos is only ninth in its worst ever league season, 28 points behind leader and archrival Olympiakos. Panathinaikos has won only two of its 10 home games this season.
