prasines-ypodomes-sto-viotexniko-parko-litoxorou-1-315x236The Industrial Park of Litochoro in northern Greece is going to be a “green” park, with an infrastructure designed based on the respect and protection of the environment.
The “green” infrastructure goal is the protection of the environment, energy recovery as well as the support of those companies that are willing to give an ecological dimension to their products, without this having a negative effect on the achievement of their business goals.
The infrastructure is actually based on the “green” marketing project, and had no cost for Litochoro Industrial Park, within the framework of Ecomark project of the EU and Med program as well.
The project includes a recycling department, the construction of buildings that will save energy, the construction of a modern biological water treatment  with the reuse of clean water for irrigation  in common areas, the collection of rainwater for irrigation, the creation of a photovoltaic park at  10% of the construction land, the night time street lights with photovoltaic generation capability, the production and supply of heat energy with bio-fuels and planting in uncultivated parts of the park.
the green marketing pilot project for Litochoro Industrial Park was presented at a conference in Bologna, Italy.
