The new internet site, festival.culture.gr, has been displayed by the Cultural Events Department/Festivals & Cultural Events Division, in cooperation with the Informatics & Telecommunications Department of the General Secretariat for Culture/Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, Culture and Sports.
This new web portal is adjusted to the current financial situation in Greece and aims at the cultural projection of the country and the creation of its positive image. The ulterior goal of the site is to contribute to the amelioration of the quality level of festivals and other important cultural events.
The website festival.culture.gr, focuses on projecting cultural events in Greece, through contacting and collaborating with 13 regions and 325 municipalities of the country.
Events in the museums and the archeological sites of Greece, as well as exhibitions of modern digital culture can be followed on the internet site.
