Lagadas Students Get Berlin Internships

ergostasio2_425xA subsidized internship in a Berlin program for Greek students will be given to those in the municipality of Lagadas in the northeast part of Thessaloniki.
The agreement was reached during a two-day stay of the Mayor of Lagadas, Ioannis Anastasiadis, in the German capital.
Anastasiadis, German Federal Deputy Labor Minister Hans-Joachim Fuchtel and the President of Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Visitors,  in the presence of the students and the Mayor of Steglitz – Zehlendorf Borough in Berlin, signed the deal.
This agreement gives the students a chance to specialize in German companies with the prospect of one day finding work there.
The program includes meetings among the potential beneficiaries and the companies, subsidized seminars in order to learn the German language and accommodation in student residence in Berlin. During the internship, which will last for 3.5 years, the Greek students will be supported by Steglitz – Zehlendorf Borough in Berlin and the Greek-German Friendship Association.
