Virtual Reality Comes To Greek Easter Eggs

auga_pasxa_744918469The clinking of eggs, or tsougrisma in Greek, is a tradition to express love and reconciliation that sweetens human relationships during the holy days of Easter.
The Greeks of the Diaspora may be many kilometers away from their homeland, their families and friends and not have the opportunity to clink eggs up close, but can now do so via Internet!
The Greek company Diaktinismos, which organizes the cutting of web e-vasilopita as well, gives Hellenism and philhellenes the chance from all around the world to participate in e(aster)-eggbattle 2013.
Web tsougrisma has begun on trial on facebook (https://apps.facebook.com/tsougriste_online/). When registering, one gains 7 e-eggs for free.
For those not connected on facebook, they can register through the website https://www.tsougresma.gr/hellenes/.
The tradition of egg battles is reviving in many regions of Greece and especially in North Greece.
