Greece Gets 5 Colleges In Top 200

5544The National Technical University of Athens ranks 25th among the top Civil and Structural Engineering universities worldwide, according to one of the most authoritative international measurements.
Apart from the University of Athens, the results for some other Greek universities were quite encouraging as five occupied prominent positions in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2013.
Launched in 2011, the annual QS World University Rankings by Subject is a comprehensive guide to a range of popular subject areas. Now in its third year, the rankings series reveals the top 200 universities in the world for 30 individual subjects such as economics, mathematics, physics, law and history.
The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki ranked high in 10 subjects. The National University of Athens, the University of Patras as well as the Athens University of Economics and Business are also highlighted at least for one of their subjects.
For the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2013, 2,858 universities were evaluated and 678 were ranked in total. The complete methodology for the overall performance of all Greek universities is published in TopUniversities.com website.
