Russian Boy, 11, Stabbed On Crete

stabed in CreteGreek Police are investigating the stabbing of an 11-year-old boy in Iraklio, Crete, who was said to be Russian and visiting the island with his family on vacation.
According to early reports, the boy was in critical condition after being stabbed several times in the back, while police have arrested a 20-year-old hotel employee in connection to the attack.
He was found near the hotel he was staying with his parents after the latter reported him missing. Initially transferred to a local hospital for treatment, the boy was subsequently airlifted to an Athens health facility.
It was reported that he was able to identify his attacker, a 20-year-old Dutch hotel employee who was reportedly arrested.
Reports said that the boy had lost his laptop and went out to look for it. His parents lost him and they found him, wounded, in an open-air space of the hotel, shortly before 3 a.m.
