A walk out has been announced by the nationwide federation of port employees (OMYLE) together with the unions of Piraeus port employees, for June 26th, as a protest against the scheduled privatization of all Greek ports. The walkout will take place at 7 pm.
Within the framework of the walkout, interventions will be staged at ports throughout the country. A rally has been scheduled as well, which is to take place at 12:30 at the SEMPO gates. Moreover, OMYLE also announced its intention to claim the signing of a collective labor agreement with single-shareholder port authorities.
