autoktoniesThe number of suicides in Greece during the period 2009-2011, asĀ  recorded by the registries and forensic services was revealed in Parliament by the Finance Minister, who quoted relevant documents of the Greek Statistical Authority.
According to the data, during these three years the financial crisis had already started, a total of 1,245 suicides was recorded. Specifically, in 2009, 391 committed suicide.
