An alleged brutal crime is being investigated by the Prosecutor who ordered a probe of a policeman and a policewoman that authorities said thrashed a pregnant Romanian woman, causing a miscarriage.
According to exclusive information of NewsIt.com.cy, the incident allegedly took place a few months ago at a police station in Athens, when the Romanian woman was called to the station for some explanations.
Police said the pregnant woman was aggressive due to her condition and had to be restrained. She was taken to a hospital, where it was reported she miscarried. The news site said police tried to cover up the incident.
