A 29-year-old Bulgarian woman was arrested early in the morning of August 21 in Orestiada, northern Greece accused of murdering her 52- year-old husband with a hunting shotgun.
The police said a few days ago she wounded her husband with a knife and he was transferred to the hospital to get stitches. According to the latest information the woman had abandoned her home the last days.
The couple has three children, the youngest of whom is six.
According to early information, the couple argued in a farm house in the region of Kambos of Orestiada and the woman allegedly shot her husband with a hunting shot gun in the belly, resulting in his fatal injury.
The gun was confiscated while the Security Division of Orestida is carrying out further investigations.
