The local community of Corfu is shocked by the news of a double tragedy that took place in the village of Antipernoi.
According to police reports, a 50-year-old German woman, who was a permanent resident of the island of Corfu, drowned her seven-year-old daughter in the bathtub of their home and then hung herself.
The tragic incident was revealed on the evening of August 28. The girl’s father and husband of the 50-year-old woman found them and informed the police.
