Alarm bells were set off at the Greek Ministry of National Defense after the recent incidents that took place in Syria. Despite the fact that there has been a change of attitude on the part of the USA and the United Kingdom, it has been estimated so far that the blow to Syria is only a matter of hours.
In addition, there is concern that the situation can become extremely dangerous in Syria. According to Onalert, a wave of refugees is expected and this appears to be among the main subjects of the upcoming meeting at the Ministry of National Defense that Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos has called.
According to the announcement posted on the official website of the Greek Ministry of National Defense:
On Friday, Aug. 30, the Ministry of National Defense will hold a meeting on the ways to deal with any potential situation that will affect our country in case the crisis in Syria gets worse.
