A particular interest in investments for the region of Thessaly, Greece, and mainly for Pelion and the Sporades islands is expressed by foreigners, potential buyers.
As far as Pelion is concerned, the interest comes from the part of Cyprus, Israel, Russia and the Scandinavian countries, while, according to estimates by the sector’s specialists, the vast majority of people interested, scout the land in search of information as well as investment opportunities for real estate that costs 500,000 euros and more.
Indeed, three apartments were sold in the region of Agios Giannis of Pelion to Russians, but “it was not an organized purchase,” as Vasilis Paizanos, of the real estate company Ktisis, told Tachidromos.
In the meanwhile, a Russian businessman appears to have turned his investment interest to the island of Skiathos.
