Golden Dawn’s “Offer of Violence”

_70226726_70226725The “price list of violence” from the Golden Dawn as revealed in an article by the BBC, includes set amounts for beating people or putting them in the hospital, according to a former party member who detailed the rage she saw.
The article entitled: Greece’s Golden Dawn; “Don’t say a word or I’ll burn you alive,” also stated that the informant, who was not identified, was threatened with being set on fire if she ever talked about what she saw. She said she had gone to the party in fear of another person and was looking for protection but left when she saw the horrors of what they were.
The woman told: “Inside, I saw clubs and shields. Everyone stood to attention when the leader came in. They talked of beating up gay and dark-skinned people. A party member came to visit me. He made me an offer: he could break someone’s arm and leg for 300 euros. Set a car on fire for 1,000 euros. Put someone on hospital for one month for 1,500 euros,” she claimed.
And she continued: “I didn’t want any of it, so I broke off communication. Later he came back and told us not to say a word or he’d burn us alive.”
The BBC also heard from a Pakistani migrant who said he was attacked three times by Golden Dawn members who assault lone targets in waves, not wanting to face anyone one-on-one. He said police did nothing, launching no investigation because he is a foreigner.
