Ten Ways To Exit The Crisis

6239550-sign-exit-from-crisis-over-blue-skyGreek businesses that are still open – more than 110,000 aren’t, closing in the last 3 1/2 years of the country’s deep recession – have a new tool on how to survive the crushing economic crisis. Research by Professor Ioanni Papadopoulos recommends a list of 10 Business Commandments for them, and for new graduates to use.
1. Regulation and control on expenses
2. Self-criticism (only for the boss)
3. Promotion of the enterprise
4. Better salesmanship
5. Better public relations
6. Don’t fire good workers
7. Realistic prices
8. Good quality
9. Offer good working conditions
10. Offer motives to your employees
As for cutting expenses, it recommended keeping good records, trying to maintain quality in goods but with a lesser cost and find some “smart” ideas to promote the business while clamping down on every unnecessary expenditure.
The research was conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Welfare.
