Roupakias Lead to Investigator's Office

RoupakiasOn Thursday the 10th of October at 9am, Giorgos Roupakias, accused for the murder of Pavlos Fyssas, was at the Investigator’s Office to deliver an apology for participating in a criminal organization Golden Dawn.
According to all the material and reports collected by those investigating the case, it appears that Roupakias had an active participation in the structure of the criminal organization. Testimonies indicating that the accused was also involved in other Golden Dawn attacks are also under assessment.
In the meanime, the 32-year-old Golden Dawn member arrested immediately for participating in Pavlos Fyssas’s killing, was asked to give a formal apology and given a deadline of Monday, Oct 14th.
The 32-year-old was allegedly in the car of Giorgos Roupakias, who has confessed to committing the murder, but left shortly before the murder took place, leaving behind his mobile phone.
The investigators of the case are carefully examining dozens of requests from  individuals all over Greece seeking to testify as protected witnesses.  These potential witnesses would be able to testify to important information for the course of this case still under investigation.
