Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades called Sunday on Greek Cypriots` “to realize that through the sale of Greek Cypriot properties in the occupied areas they weaken our negotiating position to return and especially territorial adjustments”.
It`s time for Turkey and Turkish Cypriots “to make those bold steps to convince that they want and mean to implement the resolutions of the United Nations but also to fully aligned with their aspirations for EU membership,” said Sunday Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades.
Speaking at the 33rd anti-occupation march of the Turkish-occupied municipality of Morphou, President Anastasiades said it’s time for Turkey and Turkish Cypriots “to make those bold steps to convince that they want and mean to implement the resolutions of the United Nations but also to fully aligned with their aspirations for EU membership”.
“Is inconceivable to expect that I can go into a new dialogue for the solution of the Cyprus problem by avoiding their part to accept the obvious, namely, that our state, the state in evolution, will have a single international personality and a single sovereignty, a single citizenship”, he noted.
