The Centre of Technological Research (CTR), the Region of Eastern Macedonia; the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology and the Department of Business Administration, are going to hold the fourth festival of Industrial Informatics (www.i2fest.gr) which is going to take place in the venue of the TEI from October 15 to October 20, 2013.
This is a festival of new technologies which this year aims at highlighting the dynamics of the information industry and its significant impacts on the social, economic and cultural life.
The approach to such a serious question must have multiform characteristics in order to bring people of various ages together, as well as their educational levels and technological perceptions.
The development of such an action enables everyone to realize the digital gap, to learn new practices and operational applications of high technology products and mitigate the technophobia.
The festival of Industrial Informatics offers a special program of activities aiming to provide stimulation to students of high schools, highlighting innovative practices from Greece; it offers students the opportunity to present their work and of course to promote the new cultural groups of the region.
