Themis Skordelis' Trial Postponed Again

skordeliThe trial of Themis Skordeli took place on Thursday, and was postponed once again for June 2014. Themis Skordeli is a parliamentary candidate with the far-right Golden Dawn party.
Skordeli is accused of possessing illegal smoke bombs and breaking the intellectual property rights law. She was arrested the end of September because police, after investigating her home, found 18 smoke bombs, bank statements denoting large deposits, two bags containing CDs and DVDs with lists of addresses and names of migrants.
When she exited the court she told the journalists “leave Golden Dawn alone. The only thing you do is giving us more power.” In fact, this is not a lie, because according to the polls Golden Dawn is still in the third place of the most popular Greek parties.
Furthermore, she has been accused of being involved in a racist attack on Afghan immigrants, but her trial has been postponed eight times, because of medical health problems. Although she told journalists that she has only once asked for a postponement.
