A new case of a child possibly taken by Roma’s arose in Mytilene on Wednesday morning, the police arrested three Roma’s, of Greek origin, for taking a baby boy aged two and a half months. The police-men found the baby on a Roma camp in the region of Agia Kiriaki, a few minutes away from Mytilene.
According to the Police, the three arrested were a 51-year-old woman, her 21-year-old son with his 19-year-old girlfriend who attempted to register the baby a few days ago, but didn’t have all the required certificates.
Social Services immediately called the Police. The three arrested, insist that a Roma family from Athens gave the baby to them. The police have already started an investigation.
