Troika to Meet Greek Ministry of Finance in Athens

ipourgeioThe Ministry of Finance is preparing for the arranged visit of Troika representatives in Athens, on the 4th of November.
This time, the main issues to be discussed are the restructure plans of EAS, ELVO and LARKO, the suspension of 12,500 public sector employees, and the payment of debts towards EYDAP and EYATH, which have not yet been resolved.
The Euro Working Group is not going to approve the one billion euro loan installment to Greece, unless they come to an agreement on these issues.
It is said that the European Commission and the Euro Working Group have already warned Greece, that as long as prior actions are not addressed, Troika representatives are not going to visit Athens. The lawyer code is the only matter that is close to a resolution. In the case of any delays, the loan will not be given until after December.
According to the newspaper “TO VIMA,” if Mr. Samaras does not change his mind about splitting EAS into civil and military operations, with the military company under state control, the EU will shut it down as well as ELVO.
