Today, the President of the Onassis Foundation Antonis Papadimitriou met with Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras and the Minister of Development Kostis Hatzidakis in Megaro Maksimou.
Mr. Papadimitriou stated that due to the economic crisis, Greeks have suffered and the investment fund is the best tool for growth, jobs and strengthening small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).
The name of Onassis is famous around the world. The participation of the Onassis Foundation sends a message that Greeks are united in the struggle to overcome the crisis,” said Mr. Hatzidakis.
According to sources, the Onassis Foundation will support the effort of Greek government for recovery, participating in the Investment Fund with 30 million euros.
