Missing Journalist Found

xountaThe journalist Thalia Hounta who was missing over a week, without having given any signs of life, finally returned home, reported her husband and well-known lawyer Nikos Mpouras.
Mpouras immediately contacted the Greek police authorities who called the journalist in to file a detailed report to help solve the case.
Thalia Hounta went missing on Friday, March 21. Soon after her disappearance her husband received a phone call from the kidnappers who suggested that he be careful with a legal battle he was working on. However, they didn’t ask for any kind of ransom. According to Mpouras, he had satisfied all the kidnappers’ demands.
As reported, a taxi driver had delivered the journalist to an appointment she had at the port of Piraeus, southwest of Athens, Greece. Police are searching for the driver of the taxi but have not located him yet.
Mpouras reported that his wife is in good health and didn’t suffer any injuries except for some bruises on her hands and feet caused by the rope she was tied with.
