Young Lions Competition Greece Begins in Athens

The Cannes Young Lions Competition is the biggest and most important international creativity contest for young talented artists aged 28 years old or younger. The competition takes place during the festival week of Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity in Cannes, in the French Riviera.

Greek participants (four pairs of two) will compete in Cannes after winning the Young Lions Competitions Greece. They will represent Greece in four divisions: Print, Film, Design and Cyber.

All participants are challenged to create an integrated social media campaign for non-profit causes within a limited period of time. They will have 24 hours to create a print ad (Print Competition) or a social media campaign (Cyber Competition) or deliver a brand identity (Design Competition) and 48 hours to film and edit a 60-second commercial (Film Competition).

The first award winners will be given the opportunity to represent Greece in Cannes, participate at the Young Lions Competitions and work their way out of being one of the best advertisers on the world.

The brief  will be announced on Tuesday, May 6, at 18:00, at the ALBA Graduate Business Hall (Ksenias 6-8, Athens, 11528). Medals will be presented during a special ceremony on Thursday, May 15 at 7 p.m., in Romantso.

Participation is free and open to the public.
