Greek Students Preparing for Panhellenic Exams

panhellenic examsThursday, May 22 is the last day of teaching for high school students for the year 2013/2014. Meanwhile, all senior students across Greece are preparing for the Panhellenic exams, which are set to start next Thursday.
Most high schools are scheduled to begin the Panhellenic exams on May 28, while vocational schools (EPAL) will start on May 29. The whole exam period will last until June 12 and the first subject will be Modern Greek.
From Thursday, June 19, students will have the chance to re-sit their exams. Furthermore, all specialist subjects such as foreign languages or sports will be examined from June 23 to July 4.
According to the Greek Education Ministry, after mid-June, students will receive a password with which they will be able to submit their university choices online.
