5 Children, 5 Adults Injured in Nafplio Car Crash

Ten people were injured in a car accident at 11 a.m, on Monday, May 26 in Nafplio, when a young German couple tried to overtake a vehicle containing three women and five children aged from 9 months to 9 years.
The impact injured all ten people and both cars were written off.
The children were taken to Athens’ Agia Sofia hospital, while the German woman remained in Nafplio hospital. The nine-year old boy’s condition is most serious, with head injuries requiring surgery. The other four children and three women suffered blunt-force trauma but are not in danger.
