Wording that brings to mind the “black” days in Cyprus’ history was expressed by Cyprus European Parliament Member of DHSY party, Eleni Theoharous.
The document she handed to the European Union, regarding the end of the Greek Rotating Presidency, was provocative and attacked “Every Vangelis” of Greece.
Theoharous stated that Greece’s stance on the issue of Cyprus was unacceptable throughout its six-month term and she did not hesitate to openly attack Greek Foreign Affairs Minister, Evangelos Venizelos as well as Greek Prime Minister, Antonis Samaras, who she believes is the main person responsible.
There was no reaction from the Greek government.
