Maziotis Refuses to Testify to Examining Prosecutor Again

terrorist Nikos MaziotisConvicted Greek terrorist Nikos Maziotis responded with a “political statement” to the examining prosecutor who visited Korydallos Prison earlier on Monday to get his testimony.
Maziotis, who is held in the prison infirmary under tight security, allegedly responded to the charges against him with a statement according to which “the members of Revolutionary Struggle do not testify; they fight to overthrow the exploitation system.” According to Maziotis, “others should be the defendants in his place,” while adding that “a social genocide is being committed, unprecedented in the country’s history.”
Maziotis, who is serving a 25-year sentence for his participation in the terrorist group Revolutionary Struggle, is now in custody charged with attempted murder, illegal possession of weapons, armed robberies, forgery, grand theft, arson and other criminal actions.
Maziotis had also refused to testify to the examining magistrate who visited him at Evangelismos hospital in Athens, Greece, on Saturday.
