Venizelos: 'September Will Be a Crucial Month'

venizelosSeptember will be a crucial month for developments, noted Greek Government Vice President, Foreign Minister and PASOK leader Evangelos Venizelos speaking before an audience of PASOK members, without further determining the kind of developments he foresees.
Venizelos insisted there will be no new memoranda or stream of austere government measures, appearing hopeful that Greece is bound to be back on track.
He noted that the Greek public debt is sustainable for the next ten years, adding that in these ten years there will be changes that will restructure favorably the debt conditions.
Venizelos said he plans to reveal details on Greece ‘s National Reconstruction Plan during the Thessaloniki International Fair in September. The plan is designed around the aim of increasing employment figures.
According to the PASOK leader, the party faces three open fronts: one is populism, demagoguery and falsehood, the second is neoliberalism of the worst kind, and the third is those who are politically narrow-sighted.
