Greek PM Appoints New Justice Heads

Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras chaired a cabinet council meeting to appoint the new leadership of the country’s high courts.
New appointees include Athanassios Koutroumanos to head Areios Pagos, Greece’s highest Court , Nikos Angelaras as president of the Court of Audits, and Michalis Zymis as president of the State Council.
During the brief meeting, which lasted only 35 minutes, Samaras also directed ministers to notify cabinet secretary Fotis Kaimenakis about the number of days they would be absent and their whereabouts, after having guaranteed that their respective ministries will operate as normal under deputy ministers and secretaries general.
