Greek Cabinet Gets Short Vacation

This year the Greek ministers are expected to have short vacations, as Prime Minister Antonis Samaras asked them to be on call at any time.
However, Yiannis Stournaras, the former Finance Minister and current governor of the Bank of Greece will spend several days in his house in the island of Syros.
Finance Minister  Gikas Hardouvelis will visit for a few days his hometown in southern Kinouria, Peloponnese.
Defense Minister  Dimitris Avramopoulos will visit the region of Arcadia in the Peloponnese, as well as an Aegean island.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Minister of Administrative reform will spend his vacation in Crete, the birthplace of his father, former Greek Prime Minister Kiriakos Mitsotakis. Later in the summer Kyriakos Mitsotakis will accompany his daughter to the US for her enrollment at an American university.
Tourism Minister, Olga Kefalogianni who recently visited Santorini, will stay in Crete until August 17 to also hold meetings with Saudi Prince Al-Waleed. 
Developement Minister Nikos Dendias will visit his birth-island of Corfu with his family, while Labor Minister Yiannis Vroutsis, will spend his holidays on the islands of Amorgos and Naxos.
Finally,  the Minister of Justice, Charalambos Athanassiou said that he will spend his vacation in Athens.
