Defending champion Olympiakos rolled to an easy 3-0 victory over OFI (video) in the Greek league on Saturday.
OFI defender Dele Adeleye conceded the match-winner with an own goal in the 22nd minute, while Jimmy Durmaz and Alejandro Dominguez put the result away with scores in the 44th and 54th minute, respectively.
Olympiakos aimed at conserving their forces for the Champions League match on Tuesday against visiting Atletico Madrid, but still dominated the game. They had 25 attempts at goal against OFI’s one, and also had a shot by Jorge Benitez hitting the crossbar in the 69th.
Olympiakos shares second place with PAOK.
