Andreas Taprantzis Resigns from the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund

The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) has announced the resignation of Andreas Taprantzis from his position as Executive Director of the Fund’s Board of Directors. The resignation is effective as of November 1, 2014.
Andreas Tapantzis has been a member of the Fund’s Board of Director since July 2011. The Fund issued an announcement thanking Mr. Tapantzis for his contribution to the privatization program of the Fund. It states no reasons for his resignation.
Dr. Andreas Taprantzis has more than 20 years of management experience both as a management consultant and manager. He is the former Chief Operating Officer and Retail Banking Managing Director at Hellenic Postbank. Prior to this position he was the CEO of Hellenic Post. During the 24th Universal Postal Congress in Geneva (Switzerland), he was elected Chairman of the Postal Operations Council (POC) of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) between fro the 2008-2012 term. Dr. Taprantzis holds an MSc degree in Chemical Engineering, a PhD degree in process control systems and artificial intelligence, as well as an MBA and an Advanced Management Certificate from INSEAD.
