5.0-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Lesvos

5.0-Magnitude Earthquake Hits LesvosAn earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale hit the Aegean island of Lesvos, Greece, on Saturday morning.
The temblor was reported at 8:20 a.m. (local time epicenter) at a depth of 10.86 km.
A tsunami warning has not been issued, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
There are no victims or damages reported.
Earthquakes have historically caused widespread damage across Greece, Cyprus, Sicily and other neighboring regions. In January, a series of strong earthquakes on the island of Kefalonia damaged hundreds of homes and injured more than a dozen people.
