The goat that invaded the soccer field during the game had the ambition and self-confidence to replace the goalkeeper.
The incident happened during an amateur division soccer game on the island of Crete, in Greece. The goat entered the game and took position in front of the goalpost. The goalie took the goat by the horns and led him out of the field.
The stubborn goat returned, storming the six yard box, probably convinced that he can do a better job than the human goalkeeper.
He tried and tried again, each time being led off the field of play by his ears.
After several disruptions, a determined spectator dragged the goat by its horns, allowing the game to resume.
