Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis told reporters on Wednesday he had a “fruitful” meeting with ECB’s chief Mario Draghi in Frankfurt.
“We had a fruitful conversation,” the Greek FinMin told reporters immediately after the conclusion of the meeting that focused on the Greek government’s proposal for dealing with the country’s debt.
He also said he is “eager” to meet with Germany’s Finance Minister, Wolfgang Schaeuble on Thursday and promised that the new government will shake up Greece ‘s economy.
Varoufakis underlined that “Greece has sent its message” and noted that the ECB President has reaffirmed the Central Bank’s support to the Euro zone.
