The Eurozone Ministers of Finance are not considering the possibility of a third bailout for Greece , argued Simone Boitelle -‘ spokeswoman for Eurogroup chief Jeroen Dijsselbloem -‘ in response to earlier comments by the Spanish Finance Minister.
On Monday, Spain’s Minister of Finance Luis de Guindos revealed that the Eurozone members were debating the possibility of a third rescue package for Greece, worth 30 to 50 billion euros.
According to Mr. de Guindos, this new rescue package would give Greece greater flexibility, which at present has no other funding options. Mrs. Boitelle said that the “Eurozone finance ministers are not discussing a third bailout.”
