A shocking incident occurred around 1p.m. in Vyronas, Athens, Greece , when a man fell from a building’s fourth floor while holding a baby in his arms. The 4.5-months-old girl passed away, while being transferred to the nearest Children’s Hospital.
Athens General Children’s Hospital “Pan. & Aglaia Kyriakou” notified the parents, while the director has requested an immediate forensic examination and autopsy.
The man who fell was the infant’s uncle who according to Greek media was facing psychological issues. The man was rushed to the “Red Cross” in critical condition, while eyewitnesses claim that the only reason he is still alive is the fact that he fell on a tree before hitting the ground.
Police are currently questioning the neighbors about the circumstances that might have led to the fall. They have yet to rule out the possibility of suicide or criminal action as there is less evidence pointing to a possible accident.
