Greek coast guard rescued 213 migrants in six different incidents near the islands of Kos, Chios and Lesvos during the night.
All migrants are safe and well, and no missing persons have been reported.
In recent months there has been a rise in the number of irregular migrants trying to reach Greece as people flee from Libya, Syria and Afghanistan in particular.
