Over 10,000 people visited the Dionysos marble quarry in Athens, Greece, on Saturday night, June 13, to watch the top FMX riders in the world perform at the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour.
Created back in 2001, the Red Bull X-Fighters concept has grown to become the biggest and most respected freestyle motocross tour on the planet.
The World Tour 2015 kicked off in Mexico City on March 6, then Athens and it will travel to Madrid, Pretoria and finally the United Arab Emirates on October 30 for the first tour-final on the Arabian peninsula.
Australian Clinton Moore established his place in the FMX pantheon with a stunning second consecutive victory in the Red Bull X-Fighters. After his surprise victory in the season’s first race in Mexico, Moore proved he is worthy of the world title, surprising the crowd with his amazing tricks.
His performance helped him surpass French rider Thomas Pagès and Australian Rob Adelberg. Moore climbed to the podium’s top spot, even though Pagès presented a new trick in the Athens race.
The next race will take place in Madrid on July 10.
