“Tsipras needs to understand that he is required to govern, take responsibility and provide solutions,” main opposition New Democracy leader Evangelos Meimarakis said in an interview to Real News.
Meimarakis accused Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras of giving the impression that the party matters dominate the efforts to solve Greece’s burning issues.
“This leads to instability; it results in uncertainty and confusion, both in the country and abroad,” he noted.
According to Meimarakis, Tsipras seems to be acting more as a SYRIZA leader, leaving serious issues aside that concern the Greek people, and added that elections would not be a solution at this stage.
