Finland May Not Participate in Greece's Third Bailout

1288645967289Finland may stay out of the planned third bailout package for Greece, said the country’s Foreign Minister Timo Soini on Saturday.
“The government has a very tight policy on this. We will not accept increasing Finland’s liabilities, or cuts in Greece’s debts,” Soini told Reuters on the sidelines of a congress of The Finns party. Soini is the leader of the nationalist, eurosceptic party.
The Finnish minister said he believes that a third bailout would not work and that the most likely thing to happen is that Greece will eventually exit the Eurozone, according to the Reuters report.
On Friday, European Union officials and Greece’s cabinet members expressed optimism that negotiations are on the right track and it is possible that a draft deal could be completed by Tuesday.
