Greeks are the hardest working people in Europe; however they are far from being the most productive, said a report by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
The reportĀ is based on average hours of work per year and it seems that the Greeks work the most. The Russians come second in working hours, yet they are the least productive workers in Europe, said a Bloomberg report.
Productivity in Greece, measured by gross domestic product per hour worked, is at 36.2, with the EU average being 50. Russia is at 25.9 in terms of productivity.
