An 85-year-old man is being accused of harassing a 5-year-old girl in village in western Fthiotida, Central Greece.
According to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency, the 5-year-old girl was taken to the hospital by her 60-year-old grandmother as she felt pain in her genital organs. They both told the doctors and police that an 85-year-old man had been sexually harassing the girl for the past few months.
The 60-year-old woman and the girl had been living in the 85-year-old man’s house, since the 60-year-old woman was in a relationship with him.
The 85-year-old man denied the allegations and accused the 60-year old woman of attempting to extort him for not giving her money she had demanded in the past.
According to the report, a child psychologist found that the 5-year-old has been harassed over the past six months while another doctor did not find evidence that the girl had been raped. The investigation is still ongoing.
